Downtown LA CRE Leaders Convene for Regional Roundtable & Building Tour

March 2025 DTLA Regional Roundtable

The Downtown Los Angeles Regional Council recently gathered for an engaging roundtable discussion and tour of Manulife Plaza at 515 S Figueroa Street, a premier office tower in the heart of Downtown LA.

Tour Highlights

The property features top-tier amenities (including the Bright Horizons Daycare Center), a refreshed lobby, and modern tenant spaces designed for productivity and collaboration.

As more working professionals return to work, it is imperative that commercial real estate is responsive to the changing needs of the DTLA workforce.

Participants had the opportunity to visit the office of U.S. Representative Jimmy Gomez, where they discussed pressing issues affecting the commercial real estate sector. For example, Rep. Gomez understands the value of childcare as the Chair of the Congressional Dads Caucus!

Representative Gomez’s staff provided valuable insights into federal policies impacting the industry, including the Revitalizing Downtowns and Main Streets Act.

This Act would help support economic revitalization and long-term growth in Downtown LA.

Future Regional Roundtables Regional roundtable events offer:

  • Key insights into the latest trends and challenges in commercial real estate.
  • Engaging discussions on member-requested topics and emerging industry concerns.
  • Updates on local and federal policies affecting the business landscape.
  • Opportunities to build meaningful connections and strengthen professional networks.

This event provided a unique opportunity for commercial real estate leaders to connect, exchange insights, and engage with a key policymaker's staff.

These roundtables continue to be an essential resource for property managers, owners, and service providers looking to navigate the evolving market together.
