BOMA/GLA Security Committee Hosts Crucial Active Shooter Awareness Seminar for Members

Our Security and Emergency Preparedness Committee hosted an active shooter awareness training seminar for our members this week. 

What You Need to Know

This seminar offered property managers a unique opportunity to gain training from professionals at the El Segundo Police Department, who led attendees through critical components of active shooter awareness and response.  

Participants learned how to recognize behavioral warning signs, interpret potential risks, and develop response strategies tailored to their buildings.  

Instructors shared expert insights into planning, communication, and effective real-time responses during emergencies, emphasizing the vital role of situational awareness in preventing incidents.
