Benchmark Report Survey Deadline Extended!
The Operating Benchmark Report survey deadline is extended to June 27th.Â
This comprehensive survey covers various operating expenses, such as utilities, maintenance, insurance, and taxes.Â
Don't wait, submit your survey today! Help us produce an effective report on your behalf.Â
What is the OBR?
The report will give members insights into how their expenses compare to other properties in their region and across the membership. Additionally, you will see how expenses in your region compare to those of the different regions.Â
For example, if you're curious how Westside expenses compare with Downtown expenses, this report will show you that.Â
Additionally, the report will help you understand if your expenses are out of line with the region's average.Â
All data that is helpful as you set your budget for next year.Â
How Do I Participate?
BOMA/GLA members should have received an email with a link to the survey. For non-members and members who did not receive the email, please click link below.
If you manage multiple buildings, you will add them after completing the survey for your initial building.Â
All of the data collected is anonymous. We are creating an aggregate look at expenses across Greater LA. Â
We do not collect data on property management fees as that would become an anti-trust violation.Â
As we prepare for the survey, we encourage you to gather your income and expense data. If you already have your data on hand, the survey should take at most 20 minutes. You can save your progress and return to the survey later to complete it.Â
Participants will receive a raffle entry for a free BOMA on the Sea registration.Â
Non-member buildings are also eligible to report data. Non-members who participate will receive access to the report.
All members, regardless of participation, will receive access to the report as a member benefit.
Take a moment to review last year's report to understand better the data this report will provide. Â
